Dino Park is a self-initiated brief to design a logotype for VANS' upcoming dinosaur-themed skate park.
The logo had to feel chunky, contemporary and reminiscent of the 90s classic Jurassic Park movie logo designed by Sandy Collora.
Custom, thick and chunky san serif to give the logo weight and a sense of a Dinosaur’s immense size.
The ‘dinosaur tail’ was utilised to give a unique, recognisable characteristic.
The logo was finished with thin, interior strokes within the letters as homage to the original Jurassic Park logo.
A visually strong, stable, Jurassic Park-inspired logotype helping to generate excitement and engagement towards the opening of VANS Dino Park.
