What started out as a type experiment turned into a collection of experiments illustrating my artist principles. Each typographic illustration represents what I was inspired by at the time and allow the practice of advanced Photoshop techniques.
To Inspire
What ideas get people excited? What challenges you? Who will you be affecting as a result of your project? Just some of the questions I ask myself at the beginning. This is also where research happens, where I gather resources and assets to build a successful illustration. Effectively, getting inspired!
To Create
The creation stage aka “let’s get crazy”! This is where all the magic happens. I use my experience, project references and always keeping in mind the goals of the project to create the best solution. The sky’s the limit here so it’s all about creating and flawless execution.
To Showcase
Literally that, to showcase the work! Self-promo and marketing is what illustrators and creatives should be doing to gain more eyes on our work. Here I utilise social media to get the work out.
